Sometimes on a cold winter afternoon, you want something warm and cozy to place your hands around. Am I right? And that’s where this warm almond milk drink comes in. It is a nice change up to water especially if you’re not a tea person like myself.
This warm almond milk drink is oh so satisfying and delicious. The peanut butter and cashews can help with any afternoon hunger cravings. They provide you with some protein and you can feel full. It’s truly a win all around!
WHAT IS IN THIS WARM DRINK
The flavor profile of this warm almond milk drink is brilliant when combined with peanut butter, cinnamon, and vanilla.
- Almond milk, unsweetened
- Dates
- Cashews
- Peanut butter
- Cinnamon
- Vanilla
The dates provide a bit of sweetness without needing to use artificial sugar. The cashews create a creamy texture and also help to keep you fuller longer.
HOW TO MAKE
Place all of the ingredients in a blender and pulse until well combined.
Transfer the almond milk mixture to a saucepan. Heat on medium heat for 5 minutes while stirring occasionally. You can also place the almond milk drink in the microwave.
Pour into a mug and enjoy! You can also cut the recipe in half and make one mug for yourself.
Note I included chopped chocolate on the top of this warm drink. I prefer it without the chocolate on top. The flavors all come together so well.
