When you think of smoothies, what comes to minds? Strawberry banana or fruit smoothies? You can’t beat how easy it is to make smoothies. Just grab a few ingredients and throw into the blender. No need to get fancy or complicated. Because we all know our mornings can be busy and the easier, the better.
The almond milk in this smoothie helps increase nutrients without compromising on taste or adding in any unhealthy fats. It’s creamy texture goes well with the frozen fruit. When you combine dairy and fruit together, it can often cause bloating and not exactly how you want to start your day. Whereas almond milk has the same consistency of cow’s milk and will leave you feeling good. An all around win win to add to our smoothies.
How to Make this Smoothie with Almond Milk
It doesn’t get much easier than throwing all of your ingredients into a blender and blending it to a creamy consistency. In just 5 minutes, you have a quick and easy breakfast that is great to enjoy on the go.
The almonds provide a healthy fat while the oats help thicken this smoothie. And the date naturally sweetens this smoothie. You can also turn this into a smoothie bowl and top with fruit and shredded coconut flakes.
Let me know what is your go to breakfast smoothie. I’d love to make it and change up my morning smoothie.
