Instead of skipping breakfast or grabbing something uninspiring, what if we could start the day filling our bodies with something we actually enjoyed? How cool would that feel?
I bet it would feel pretty awesome. Because I know all too well about skipping breakfast or eating something really bland after beating myself up about a binge the night before.
Well say hello to this colorful and mighty flavorful fruit salad. The great thing about this fruit salad for breakfast is that it’s not just fruit. We are adding in healthy fats with the coconut yogurt and granola.
KEEP IT SIMPLE
Let’s keep things super simple here. You can add in any granola that you have on hand. It can be a store bought kind. It can even be my crunchy granola, my go to granola, or even a granola bar broken into tiny pieces. You’re the boss, sis. You get to decide.
Remember to keep it simple. You want your breakfast to be something that you can come back to and that is sustainable.
ADD IN COLOR
In this fruit salad for breakfast, I added in chopped mangos, strawberries, and blueberries. You can add in any fruit that you have on hand. A little trick when thinking about a dish is to noticing the colors and when you can add in a pop of color.
You can see in this fruit salad for breakfast the mangoes bring in a beautiful yellow, strawberries a vibrant red, and blueberries a soothing blue. Our dish is vibrant. When we have something that is inspiring to eat, we too can begin to feel inspired about our lives.
Overtime, we can feel and say: I’m worthy of good food. I deserve food that I enjoy. I deserve good meals.
When we start treating ourselves with love and respect and allowing ourselves food we love, we start showing up in different ways. It can impact our lives from beating our eating struggles to getting the new job we want to finding a partner to feeling more fulfilled in our lives.
We can do all of that when we start small TODAY.
