Granola gives any typical breakfast just a bit more flavor and crunch. And this recipe for crunchy granola surely does give your breakfast a nice little crunch. The toasted nuts and shredded coconut in this crunchy granola recipe are divine.

You can even enjoy this crunchy granola on its own. Just grab a handful and take it with you on the go. Quick and easy. Does it get much better than that?

HOW TO MAKE THIS RECIPE FOR CRUNCHY GRANOLA

Preheat the oven to 350 F / 176 C.

Add to a bowl the almonds, cashews, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, chia seeds, flaxseed powder, cinnamon and salt. Give it a stir. Set aside.

Heat a saucepan over medium heat. Add in the coconut oil and honey. Remove the saucepan from the heat.

Add the warm mixture to the mixing bowl of dry ingredients. Give it a stir and mix until well combined.

Transfer the granola to a baking sheet and spread evenly. Place in the oven.

Recipe for Crunchy Granola

After 15 minutes, take the granola out of the oven and give it a stir. Place back in the oven for 10 more minutes.

Once cool, add in the cranberries. Give it a stir.

  • 1 1/2 cup almond chopped
  • 1 cup cashew chopped
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin seeds
  • 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional)
  • 1/2 tablespoon flaxseed powder
  • 2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoon coconut or olive oil
  • 3 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 3 tablespoon cranberry (place in recipe after baked in oven)
