Can I be honest with you? There once was a time that I ate the same boring salad dressing and steamed veggies almost everyday for lunch. I thought that if I only allowed myself only certain foods then surely I wouldn’t binge. Well to no surprise eating the same bland veggies and salads over and over again didn’t work. I found myself binge eating quite often.
What if we allowed ourselves a variety of food? I know the idea of eating pizza, bread, and pasta may be too much to think about. I’ve been there before.
Let’s ease into trying new foods with this recipe for ginger salad dressing. It’s ideal for a warm summer day and oh so fresh with a squeeze of lime and grated ginger.
GINGER SALAD DRESSING INGREDIENTS
The ingredients in this recipe for ginger salad dressing really make this dressing stand out. It has so much more flair than most vinaigrette dressings.
There is something special about freshly grated ginger. It is used often in Asian dishes yet you can add it to soups, smoothies, and even this salad dressing. You can use a microplane, cheese grater or finely chop the ginger into pieces.
You’ll notice that I use coco aminos often. Coco aminos is a soy sauce substitute with significantly less sodium. A great addition to your kitchen staples.
The rice vinegar, sesame oil, and Sriracha sauce give this dish a bit of Asian flair.
Mix all the ingredients together in a small bowl and enjoy my friend. You can grab a bowl and add your salad greens and chopped veggies. Then drizzle on this ginger salad dressing. Delish!
