Calling all chocolate lovers! I’m a big chocolate and peanut butter fan over here. So when looking for a tasty chocolate snack, I wanted to share a recipe that:
- Doesn’t take forever to make or require a lot of ingredients
- Isn’t filled with a ton of ingredients with names we’ve never heard or don’t feel so great about
CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER FUDGE INGREDIENTS
Let’s take a look at this ingredient list and notice that the list isn’t forever long, just 6 simple ingredients.
- Coconut oil
- Cocoa or cacao powder
- Peanut butter
- Vanilla extract
- Salt
- Honey or maple syrup
The coconut oil is what holds this chocolate peanut butter fudge recipe together. The cocoa powder gives this chocolate peanut butter fudge recipe the coveted chocolatey flavor. No need to have chocolate chips or a chocolate bar in the home. The cocoa powder is where it’s at.
HOW TO MAKE
Heat a small pan over medium heat and melt the coconut oil. Add in the cocoa /cacao powder, peanut butter, vanilla, and salt. Give it a stir until combined.
Remove the mixture from the heat. Add in the honey and stir until combined.
Transfer the chocolate peanut butter fudge to a silicone mold. If you don’t have a silicone mold, you can use a mini muffin tray with muffin liners. I have also used a silicone ice tray before too.
Place in the freezer for a few hours. Store in the freezer and enjoy! Note that if you leave them out too long they will melt.
