These chocolate chip blondies are moist, rich, and seriously delicious. It doesn’t get much easier than adding everything to a bowl, placing in a pan, and popping in the oven. Then slice into bars and enjoy! Super easy to enjoy as a snack, bring to dinner parties, or share with friends and family.

Oh yeah and this recipe is gluten-free, who would have thought?! If you’re skeptical about not using any flour in this recipe, think again. These blondies are the best chocolate chip blondies I’ve EVER had and a new favorite in my home and with friends.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A BLONDIE AND BROWNIE

I wondered this myself what exactly is a blondie recipe and is it technically a brownie? And the answer is that brownies use cocoa / cacao powder while blondies do not.

So if you’re wanting a chewy and fudgy dessert without too much chocolate, this chocolate chip blondies recipe comes in for the win!

Chocolate Chip Blondies Recipe Ingredients

HOW TO MAKE THESE CHOCOLATE CHIP BLONDIES

Preheat the oven to 350 F /176 C. Use a 9×13 inch pan. Line the pan with parchment paper. I originally didn’t use parchment paper yet parchment paper makes it easier when slicing into bars.

You can place a bit of oil in the pan. Then, set the parchment paper on top of the oil so that the parchment paper stays put.

In a mixing bowl, add in peanut butter, honey, eggs, baking soda, vanilla, and sale. Give it a stir with a spatula.

Chocolate Chip Blondies Recipe

Gently fold in the chopped chocolate or chocolate chips. I prefer to use 2 tablespoons of chopped dark chocolate to top off these chocolate chip blondies.

The chopped chocolate on top melts beautifully and the higher quality of dark chocolate helps give these blondies a rich and insanely delicious chocolatey flavor. You can also use chocolate chips on top too and it still tastes delicious.

Pour the mixture in the pan. Add 2 tablespoons of chopped chocolate or chocolate chips to the top.

Bake for 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Let cool. Enjoy my friends! I like to sprinkle a bit of salt on top to enhance the chocolate flavors. This is optional.
