Fried Rice Recipe Simple

Craving takeout? Try this simple fried rice recipe instead and satisfy your cravings. It uses fresh veggies and a hint of sesame oil. It is oh so good.

INGREDIENTS

Ingredients

  • 2 cup cooked rice
  • 1/3 onion thinly sliced
  • 2 garlic thinly sliced
  • 1/2 carrot julienned
  • 1/2 zucchini thinly sliced
  • 1/2 bell pepper (I used a combination of red and yellow)
  • 1/2 cup broccoli broken into florets
  • 1/2 cup cauliflower broken into florets
  • 1 tablespoon sugar snap peas thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh cilantro / coriander thinly sliced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoon sesame oil
INSTRUCTIONS

Instructions

  • Preheat a large pan and add in 1 tablespoon of sesame oil, onions, and garlic. Sauté for 2-3 minutes. Then add in all of the veggies.
  • After adding the veggies to the pan add 1 more tablespoon of sesame oil to the pan and sauté until the veggies have softened.
  • Add in the cooked rice and give it a good stir for 5-7 minutes.
  • Place on a plate and enjoy!
NOTES

Notes

To make it spicy, add in chopped jalapeño or chili.
