A dairy free easy peanut butter pie that comes together in just 30 minutes and requires no baking. It’s definitely a crowd pleaser.

INGREDIENTS

Ingredients

Crust

  • 2 cup almond meal or almond flour
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/3 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Filling

  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/3 cup coconut oil melted
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (optional depending on your preference)

Topping

  • 2 tablespoon coconut oil melted
  • 2 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon water
INSTRUCTIONS

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, add in all the crust ingredients and stir until a dough forms. Transfer the dough to a pie dish. I used a 9 inch pie dish. You could also use a springform pan. Press the dough into the bottom of the pan. Set aside.
  • In a blender, add the filling ingredients and blend until smooth.
  • Transfer the filling on top of the pie crust. Use a spatula to spread the filling out.
  • In a small mixing bowl, add the topping ingredients and give it a stir.
  • Place the chocolate topping in a ziplock baggie and cut out a small hole to decorate the easy peanut butter pie. You can also use a spoon and drizzle the chocolate topping over the pie. Both options will taste delicious!
  • Transfer the pie to the freezer for a few hours.
  • When ready to serve, remove the pie from the freezer and let thaw for 5 minutes. Then cut into slices and enjoy!
NOTES

Notes

When I was ready to eat, I sprinkled a little salt on top of the peanut butter pie to enhance the flavors. This is completely optional.
