These are the BEST brownies made with almond flour! Fudgy, rich, and oh so chocolatey. They will make your heart and belly sing.

INGREDIENTS

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup coconut oil melted
  • 3 eggs
  • 3/4 cup coconut sugar
  • 1 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1/3 cup + 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 3 tablespoon dark chocolate chopped (optional)
INSTRUCTIONS

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 F / 176 C and line a 8x8 inch (20x20 cm) baking pan with parchment paper.
  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk the eggs. Add in the coconut sugar. Set aside for 5 minutes.
  • Add in the almond flour and cocoa powder, and salt the mixture. Stir with a spatula until well combined. Then add in the chocolate chips.
  • Transfer to a baking pan. Use a spatula to smooth out the brownie mixture. Place chopped chocolate chunks on top.
  • Bake for 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Let cool. Enjoy my friends! I like to sprinkle a bit of salt on top to enhance the chocolate flavors. This is optional.
NOTES

Notes

I prefer to use 3 tablespoons of chopped dark chocolate to top off these brownies with almond flour. The chopped chocolate on top melts beautifully and the higher quality of dark chocolate helps give these brownies a rich and insanely delicious chocolatey flavor.
