Say hello to this tasty recipe for crunchy granola. Most granola recipes are made with oats as the main ingredient. This recipe’s main ingredients include nuts and seeds sprinkled with a dash of cinnamon. And it is sooooo good.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 1/2 cup almond chopped
  • 1 cup cashew chopped
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin seeds
  • 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional)
  • 1/2 tablespoon flaxseed powder
  • 2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoon coconut or olive oil
  • 3 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 3 tablespoon cranberry (place in recipe after baked in oven)
INSTRUCTIONS

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 F / 176 C.
  • Add to a bowl the almonds, cashews, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, chia seeds, flaxseed powder, cinnamon and salt. Give it a stir. Set aside.
  • Heat a saucepan over medium heat. Add in the coconut oil and honey. Remove the saucepan from the heat.
  • Add the warm mixture to the mixing bowl of dry ingredients. Give it a stir and mix until well combined.
  • Transfer the granola to a baking sheet and spread evenly. Place in the oven.
  • After 15 minutes, take the granola out of the oven and give it a stir. Place back in the oven for 10 more minutes.
  • Once cool, add in the cranberries. Give it a stir.
NOTES

Notes

It is important to place the cranberries in after you have removed the granola from the oven so that the cranberries don’t become dried out.
